In February I accepted the fact that it might not be in the cards for my school, in this season, but that we could still be cheerleaders of student leadership opportunities.How’s this for an update?  Now that it’s official, I can share it.

Right now, as I’m typing this, MY SCHOOL, the place that I’ve spent the majority of my last 9+ years working, playing, laughing, sometimes crying, scarfing down lunch in 15 minutes, wishing I had time to pee, reading about goats, writing “all about me” paragraphs, rediscovering multiplication for the 10th time, and encouraging each and every leader who walks through these doors, …. that school???

Right now MY SCHOOL is having their FIRST OFFICIAL school-wide Professional Development from….

THE LEADER IN ME.

If you have read any of my other posts about my TLIM experience at the leadership symposium, or if you’ve been seated next to me on a plane, ever asked me what “I do”, ever looked into what my passions are when it comes to student leadership, you will understand.  THIS is it! It’s happening!

It’s officially happening.

I can’t wait to take you along on our adventure as we apply these principles and values to our own lives and share them as A SCHOOL with our students and community.
